Sunrise Shopfronts & Shutters

Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Sunrise Shopfronts & Shutters Ltd collects through this website, by phone, by email and on WhatsApp, and what we do with it.

Who we are

This website is run by Sunrise Shopfronts & Shutters Ltd (“Sunrise”, “we”, “us”), registered in England and Wales, company number 10741435. Registered office: 38 Claypit Lane, West Bromwich, B70 9UN. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Questions about this policy or your information: email info@sunriseshutters.co.uk or call 07931 104162.

What we collect

  • Enquiry forms. Your name, phone number and the details you give us, which may include your address, and if you choose to add them, your email address, the site postcode and the service you need. We also record which page of the website the enquiry was sent from. The form on our contact page, and on some service pages, also records your IP address and the type of browser you used.
  • Phone calls. The phone numbers shown on this website are provided through GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), the system we use for call tracking and customer records. When you call one of these numbers, it records the number you called from, the time and length of the call, and how you reached our website, for example from a Google advert.
  • WhatsApp. If you message us using the WhatsApp link, we receive your WhatsApp name, number and messages.
  • Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and what you send.
  • Using this website. Cookies and similar technologies record how the website is used: the pages you view, your device and browser, your approximate location based on your IP address, and whether you arrived from one of our Google adverts. See “Cookies” below.
  • Measuring our adverts. When you send an enquiry, our Google tags may send Google a scrambled (hashed) copy of the email address, phone number or address you entered. Google uses it to tell us whether one of our adverts led to the enquiry, and to make our website statistics more accurate.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey, repair or installation, and give you a quote.
  • To carry out and invoice the work you ask us to do, and to keep the records a business has to keep.
  • To understand how our website and our advertising are used, so we can improve them.
  • To keep the website secure.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

These service providers handle information on our behalf:

  • Hostinger, which hosts this website, our email, and the enquiries sent through the website forms.
  • Google, which sends the website’s enquiry emails to us (Gmail), and provides Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager and the fonts this website uses.
  • GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), our call tracking and customer records system.
  • Our website and marketing agency, which maintains this website and our advertising.
  • WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there.

We may also share information with our professional advisers or insurers where that is needed, or where the law requires it.

Some of these providers process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on the safeguards UK law provides for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to keep proper business records. Enquiries sent through the website forms are stored on the website and in our email system, and copies are included in backups of the website. Website analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.
